Low-income, uninsured patients suffering from chronic or acute pain can breathe a sigh of relief. The Southwest Florida Free Pain Clinic is reopening on Tuesday, May 5th. New and existing patients can call 239.308.7107 to schedule an appointment. We have offered telehealth appointments with our physician, physical therapist, and counselor during the temporary closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and will continue to offer this option to existing patients who prefer not to come in.

The health and safety of our patients, staff, and volunteers is our top priority and all necessary social distancing and sanitizing measures will be taken. Patients will notify staff of their arrival by phone and wait in their vehicles to be called in. Temperatures will be taken at the door, and only a few patients will be allowed into the clinic at a time. Staff, volunteers, and patients will be required to wear masks in the clinic. Treatment areas will be sanitized between patients and the entire facility cleaned and disinfected continuously.

The Southwest Florida Free Pain Clinic is working to rewrite the paradigm for low-income, uninsured pain patients. It is the only free pain clinic of its kind in Florida, the only one identified in the country. The mission of the not-for-profit organization is to provide free holistic medical care to people suffering from painful conditions or injuries who are unable to afford treatment, all without the use of opioids or other drugs. The clinic treats this under-served demographic using a Functional Medicine model, addressing physical, spiritual, emotional, and social needs. We are thrilled to be able to provide the hands-on care our patients need again!
