The Southwest Florida Free Pain Clinic, the only free pain clinic in Florida for low-income, uninsured patients suffering with chronic or acute pain, is continuing to expand. Having recently moved into their own facility located at 6831 Palisades Park Court, Unit 3 in Fort Myers, they have added a number of new staff, volunteers and board members.

Some of the newest members of the team serving the community include:

  • Amber Greer – Therapy Technician
  • Becky Boros, MD – Acupuncture Physician
  • Carol Calhoon – Administrative Assistant and Eligibility
  • Dena Galyean – Licensed Massage Therapist
  • Donna Campbell – Board Member
  • Grace McGill, ARNP – Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
  • Heather Moore, RN – Administrative Clinic Director and Registered Nurse
  • Jesse Flores – Board Member
  • Joe Catalano – Therapy Technician, Board Treasurer
  • Kathy Wallace – Therapy Technician
  • Matt Moore – Therapy Technician
  • Michelle Avola – Director of Development
  • Mike and Lillian Smith – Lifestyle Coaches
  • Steve Phillips, CPA – Board Member
  • Thomas Dellinger – Licensed Massage Therapist

At this time, the Southwest Florida Free Pain Clinic offers services by appointment only on Tuesdays from noon to 9 p.m. and Thursdays from noon to 5 p.m. Further expansion efforts are underway, with the ultimate goal of being a permanent full-time staffed clinic. We hope to utilize this model to replicate numerous free pain clinics across the state.
